I need to have a solution to a problem:

The angles of a triangle are in AP, such that the greatest is five times the least. Find the angles in degrees and radians.

Kindly Help!

Let x = the least angle
5x = greatest angle

Difference = (5x-x)/2
= 2x

So, the 2nd angle would be x+2x, which is equal to 3x.

x+3x+5x = 180°
9x = 180°
x = 20°; 3x = 60°; 5x = 100°

Check: 20° + 60° + 100° = 180°
180° = 180°

Therefore, the angles of a triangle in degrees/radians are:

20°, 60° and 100° || 1/9 pi radians, 1/3 pi radians and 5/9 pi radians
