Making Moves

Editing Moves | You will only have the option to Make a Move if it is your turn! To move a piece, select it (click on it) and then place it (click again) on the square of your choice. If you click on a piece twice it will disappear, but you can just grab another piece from the side.
Be advised, this is just like in real life. You can place your piece anywhere on the board. The validator only checks for the color and number of pieces that you move or capture. You will be allowed to castle and do an en passant, though.
As far as editing goes, a site admin has a link to make the move, even if it is an illegal move (if you have a problem, contact the site admin and they can fix it). If your opponent persists in moving his pieces in an illegal fashion, you can just get another opponent.  |
